Mrs. Sandra Faye Sampley age 70 of Monteagle, Tennessee passed away on Sunday, July 10, 2011, in The Bridge at Monteagle. She was retired from Emerald-Hodgson Hospital. A native of Lincoln County, Tennessee, she was a daughter of the late James Lloyd Counts and Mary Ellen Tucker Counts and was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Ray Sampley; brothers, Ronnie, Billy and Buddy, Charles and Michael Counts.
Survivors include her children, Pam (Jim) Lanham, Mattoon, IL, Gary (Pam) Sampley, Sedalia, MO, Michelle (Tim) Meeks, Tracy City, Marty (Chandra) Sampley, Monteagle; sisters, Carolyn Parker, Stevenson, AL, Gwen Anderson, Cogswell, N.D.; brothers, Jerry Counts, Taylor, MI, Walter Counts, Steger, IL, David Counts, South Chicago Heights, IL, Dennis Counts, Mobile, AL; 4 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with Dr. Daryll Smiley officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home 1:00 - 2:00 P.M.
Arrangements are by Cumberland Funeral Home, 207 Mabee Avenue, Monteagle, Tennessee.
