Obituary of Helen Kirk

Mrs. Helen Myers Kirk age 88 of Tracy City passed away Sunday, October 2, 2016, at Unity Medical Center in Manchester. She was born in Tracy City, a daughter of the late Claude Myers and Argie Ingram Myers and was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Ed Kirk, brothers, Jim and Bernard Myers; sister, Doris Crawford. Mrs. Kirk was a graduate of GCHS '47, a long time member of Tracy City First United Methodist Church and had worked at GENESCO in Cowan before retiring. Survivors include her brother, John K. Myers, Sr. and his wife, Billie Faye; sisters-in-law, Lucyle Hampton, Judy Hampton and Ann Myers; several nieces and nephews and a cousin, Evelyn Novotny. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at Tracy City First United Methodist with Reverend Danny Coffelt officiating. Burial will be in City Cemetery.
