Mr. William "Doug" Seagroves age 73 of Tracy City passed away Tuesday, September 13, 2016, at his home. He was a son of the late William and Mae Seagroves and was preceded in death by his son, Jeff. Doug was retired from the Grundy County Highway Department, he was an Atlanta Braves and wrestling fan.
Survivors include his wife, Lois Nunley Seagroves; children, Tim (Lisa), Chris (Cindy) and Kelly (Mindy); brother, James Earl Seagroves; sisters, Geraldine Parsons, JoAnn Anderson and Rhonda Dykes; grandchildren, Felicia, Kimberly, Bethany, Makayla, Makenzie, Donavan, Keristyn and Gracie; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday at Chestnut Springs Church at Orange Hill. Ministers John Potts, Bobby Winton and Joe Nunley will officiate. Burial will be in Plainview Cemetery. On line condolences may be made at: www.fosterlayfuneralhome.net. The family will receive friends wednesday from 5-9 P.M. At Chestnut Springs Church at Orange Hill.
