Lillian Naydean Nunley Parsons, age 84, of Sequatchie, Tennessee, passed away Saturday, September 3, 2016 at Hospice Care Center in Chattanooga, Tennessee. She is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Jennie Nunley; 4 brothers; 4 sisters; and husband, Lee Upton 'Red' Parsons.
Survivors include son, Tim (Marjorie) Parsons, Ooltewah, TN; daughter, Beth Sulcer, Hixson, TN; sister, Jewell Kilgore, Sequatchie, TN; 4 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; and many special cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family members.
The family would like to thank the caring folks at The Lantern at Morning Pointe, Collegedale, TN and Hospice of Chattanooga.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. CDT, Tuesday, September 6, 2016 in the Foster & Lay Chapel with Reverend Danny Coffelt officiating. Burial will be at the Plainview Cemetery, Tracy City, TN. The family will receive friends Monday 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. CDT and 12:00 - 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, before the service, at the funeral home.
