Mr. Johnnie B. Byers age 72 of Monteagle passed from this life on Wednesday, August 3, 2016, at Southern Tennessee in Sewanee. He was retired from the Monteagle Utility Department and was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Jennings. Survivors include his wife, Becky Byers; sons, Johnny (Amy) Byers and Stephen (Karena) Byers; grandchildren, Haleigh, Hunter, and Callie; numerous, wonderful cousins and friends. A memorial service for Johnnie will be 4:00 P.M. Saturday in the funeral home chapel with Brother Paul Tittle and Brother Thomas George officiating.
