Obituary of Stanley Yarworth

Stanley F. Yarworth, age 86, known as Pooh to his family, passed away June 29, 2016. He was born on May 9, 1930 to Lewis and Bessie Yarworth. He worked in the coal mines and as a bus driver for many years. Most of his life was spent as owner/operator of the Dari-Delight in Tracy City, TN. He was a kind hearted and loving man. He attended Myers Hill First Congregational Methodist Church in Tracy City, TN. He is preceded in death by his parents and first wife, Ruth Harris Yarworth. Also preceding him in death were sisters, Marie Turner, Maggie Custer, Eleanor Rose McBee, Mary Jane Green and his brother, Carl Yarworth. Survivors include his wife, Arveta Yarworth of Tracy City, TN; son, Mike (Fawn) Yarworth of Monteagle, TN; daughter, Mary (Mack) Meeks of Tracy City, TN; grandchildren, Stephen (JacQueline) Yarworth, Stephanie (Jacob) Meeks, Andy (Melissa) Meeks; great grandchildren, Chloe,Noah, Elle, Anna, Jasi, Skylar, Gracie, Reagan and Riley, Matthew and Mallory; sisters and brothers, Doris Johnson, Opal McBee, Denver Yarworth, Brenda Dees and Lewis Rick Yarworth. His family by heart included, Jerry Wayne, Dana, Zachary and Brayden Sanders, Bob and Debbie Welborn, Jordan and Whitney Daniel, Tim and Tammie Caldwell, Tyler and Richelle. Special friend, Ricky Layne, who spent many hours by his side, along with a host of lifelong friends. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Friday, July 1, 2016 in the funeral home chapel with Reverend Freddie Savage and Reverend Dennis Rollins officiating, burial will be in the Plainview cemetery.
