Opal Ruth Meeks Murray, age 86, South Pittsburg, Tennessee passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at The Bridge At South Pittsburg. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jim King and Mary Blaylock; husbands, R.M. McFalls, John K. "Buck" Meeks and Bill "Padno" Murray; children, Jerry McFalls, Roger McFalls; grandchildren, Billy Elrod, Michael McFalls, Timothy McFalls and Frank Edward Rollins. Survivors include her son, Richard D. McFalls, South Pittsburg, Tn; daughters, Sheila J. Nunley, Coalmont, Tn; Wanda P. Smith, Jasper, Tn; son-in-law, Marcus Nunley, Tracy City, Tn; brother, Norman King, Palmer, Tn; 18 grandchildren; 43 great grandchildren; several great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday in the Foster & Lay Chapel with Reverend Ronnie Case officiating, burial will be in the Planview cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 5:00 p.m - 9:00 p.m and Friday from 8:00 a.m - 9:00 p.m. Funeral arrangements are provided by Foster & Lay Funeral Home, Tracy City, Tennessee, (931)592-3691.
