Obituary of George Layne

George (Georgie) Anthony Layne, 47, Manchester, Tennessee departed this life June 1, 2016. He was born November 11, 1968 the son of George Layne and Linda Layne Rollins. He moved to Taylorville, IL, in 1994, while there he was employed as a courier for The St. Louis Post Dispatch. He came back home to Tennessee and was employed as a Pilot car driver for oversize loads. He was preceded in death by his dad, George Layne and his mother Linda Layne Rollins; two uncles, Clyde (Laynie) Layne and James (Jimmy) Tucker; aunt, Novella Layne. Survivors include his daughter, Chelsea Rogers; grandson, Brody Rogers; sisters, Marie Wilder, Pensacola, FL; Kimberly Layne, Monteagle, TN; brother, Jerry Layne, Tracy City, TN; uncles, Wilson (Jay) Tucker (Irene); Kelly Layne, Gruetli-Laager, TN; aunts, Betty Layne, Taylorville, IL, Anna (Bob) McCord, Donelson, TN, Lucy (Billy) Hill, Pelham, TN, Mattie (David) Murray, Pelham, TN, who loved him very much. He will be sadly missed by all, but by the Grace of God he's walking now. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
