Mrs. Alma Marie Turner, age 88, passed away peacefully at her home in Tracy City, Tennessee on May 30, 2016. She was born on December 31, 1927, to Lewis and Bessie Yarworth who preceded her in death along with a brother Carl Yarworth, sisters, Maggie Custer, Rose McBee, Jane Green and granddaughter Leah Marie Turner. She was a member of the Chestnut Springs Methodist Church since early childhood. She is survived by her husband of 69 years, William Ray Turner; sons, Larry and wife Janice of Chattanooga, Tennessee; Travis and wife Sharon of Tracy City, Tennessee; two granddaughters, Alice Turner of Chattanooga and Sara Beth Turner of Tracy City; sisters, Opal McBee, Doris Johnson, Brenda Dees; brothers, Stanley, Denver and Lewis Yarworth; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday, June 2, 2016 in the Foster & Lay Funeral Home Chapel, with Minister Freddie Savage and Minister Joe Nunley officiating, burial will be in the Orange Hill Cemetery.
