Mrs. Velma Turner Lowe, 74, passed away Monday April 11, 2016 at Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga Tn with her family by her bedside. She was born in Coalmont, Tennessee on January 17, 1942 to Marlin Turner and Margie Sweeten Turner who preceded her in death along with husband, Kenny Lowe. She was of the Church of God faith.
She is survived by her sons, Tim (Lisa) Orange and Jack Lowe; daughter, Sherri (Terry) Caldwell; brothers Bobby Turner, Ray and Charles Tipton; twin sister Thelma Gilliam; sisters, Shirley Carrick, Sue Collins and Brenda Goins; grandchildren, Shawn Caldwell, Blake Orange, Ethan Orange and Travis Caldwell; great grandson, Eli Caldwell; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with Minister Benji Goins officiating with burial to follow in the Plainview Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday 5:oo PM till 9:00 PM at Foster and Lay Funeral Home, Tracy City, Tennessee and Wednesday 9:00 am - 2:00 PM
