Obituary of Danville Sweeton

Mr. Danville Milton Sweeton age 82 of Lebanon, Tennessee passed away at his home Friday morning, February 5, 2016. he was born in Coalmont, a son of the late Anthony Emmett "Yancy" Sweeton and Ruth Anders Sweeton and was preceded in death by an infant son, Brice Anthony Sweeton; son, Timothy Alan Sweeton;sisters, Thelma Andreson, Theona Moran, Julene Gilliam and Sarah Shrum; brothers, Walter Sanders, Richard Sweeton, Buford Sweeton and Alton "Brad" Sweeton. Mr. Sweeton was retired from the U.S. Air Force with 20 years of service and in civilian life he worked as an electronics technician until his retirement. Survivors include his wife, Beverly Sweeton, Lebanon; sons, Noel Danville "Rusty" Sweeton (Melissa) of Lebanon and Terry William Sweeton of Nashville; brother, John Sweeton of Tullahoma; sister, Dotsie Shrum of Tracy City; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday in the funeral home chapel with Brother Steve Owenby officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
