Obituary of Bettye Foster

Foster, Bettye Jean, 89, of Tracy City, Tennessee passed away Thursday, January 14, 2016 in a local hospital after a very short illness. Mrs. Foster was associated with Foster & Son Funeral Home from 1949-2001 and affiliated with Foster & Lay Funeral Home from 2001 until her death. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Hill Foster; parents, Jennings Raht and Anna V. Roddy Charles; sisters, Billie Parson and Mary Sue Arbuckle and a great nephew, Derrick Arbuckle. Survivors include her son, Robert H. Foster, Jr. (Leda), Tracy City, TN; Grandchildren; Robbie (Leigh) Foster, Murfreesboro, TN, Hollie (Ron) Bailey, Winchester, TN; Great Grandchildren; Andrew and Will Foster, Murfreesboro, TN and Emily Bailey, Winchester, TN. Nephews; Jimmy (Helen Jean) Parson, Gallatin, TN, Courtney (Debbie) Arbuckle, Tracy City, TN, Russell (Tina) Arbuckle; Nieces; Jan (Craig) Lawson, Monteagle, TN, Suzanne Parson, Chico, CA. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Friday at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Stephen Eichler officiating. Burial will be in the Philadelphia Cemetery, Tarleton Valley. Serving as active pallbearers will be Brice and T.J.
