Mr. Bennie Dykes, age 87, of Tracy City, Tennessee passed away Monday, December 7, 2015 at The Bridge At Monteagle. He is preceded in death by his parents Hallie (Sanders) Dykes, Andy Dykes; son, Keith Dykes; two sisters, Elsie (Orange) Dykes, Edna (Roberts) Dykes, four brothers, Alf Dykes, Clifford Dykes, Charles Dykes, and Lonnie Dykes.
He is survived by his wife Deloris of 66 years, two daughters, Linda (Butch) Goodman, Dianne (Harold) Schlageter; son, Kimball Dykes; five grandchildren Allison Morgan, Amanda (Jeff) Shepherd, Monica (Mark) Everett, Meredith (Lee) Davis, Russell Goodman; four great-grandchildren, Katherine Everett, Olivia Davis, Carly Morgan, and Wesley Shepherd; two brothers, Alvin (Shirley) Dykes, Ray (Mary) Dykes.
Funeral services will be held 3:30 P.M. Tuesday, December 8, 2015 in the Foster & Lay Funeral Home Chapel with Elder Franklin Hill officiating, burial will be in the Gregg Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 11:00 A.M. til 3:30 P.M.
