Obituary of Willard Crisp

Willard Leon Crisp, age 90, passed from this life October 23, 2015, at Southern TN. Medical Center in Winchester, TN. He was born November 30, 1924, in Wolfpit, KY., to Thomas and Lizzie (Nunley) Crisp who preceded him in death, along with his brothers Clifford, Ralph, Stanley, Tommy, Raymond, Alayn and Franklin Crisp, sister Elsie Hope, grandchildren Chris Haynes, Jamey Meeks, Rhonda Fults, Jeremy Meeks, Christy Meeks, Natalie Martin, great grandchildren Whitney Gipson and Joshua Hampton. He was a retired coal miner and Minister, where he pastored several churches in Grundy and Marion counties. He married Hazel Kilgore and together they raised 14 children. Left to cherish his memory are 5 sons and 9 daughters: Anthony (Helen Crisp of Hixon, TN., Lloyd (Linda) Crisp of Tracy City, TN., Jerry (Carolyn) Crisp of Tracy City, TN., Faron (Jana) Crisp of Gruetli Laager, TN., Nathan Crisp of McDonald, TN., Ophelia (Ricky) Williams of Winchester, TN., Darlene (Richard) Blazier of Normandy, TN., Martha (Billy Ray) Nunley of Tracy City, TN., Naomi (Brent) Parsons of Tracy City, TN., Rebecca (Johnie) Hobbs of Jasper, TN., Shirley Crisp of Monteagle, TN., Sheila (Bobby) Geary of Tullahoma, TN., Sara (Michael) Scott of Fort Myers, FL., Angelia (Ricky) Sanders of Gruetli Laager, TN., 30 grandchildren, 58 great grandchildren, 14 great great grandchildren. The family would like to say thank you to Avalon Hospice. Visitation with the family will be Saturday night, October 24, 2015, from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M.
