Mr. Junior Boyd Thomas age 82 of Monteagle passed away Thursday, August 20, 2015, at his home. He was born in Pelham, TN a son of the late Clarence Thomas and Ida Era Layne Thomas and was preceded in death by brothers, Albert Thomas and Edward Thomas. Mr. Thomas had been a minister for over 50 years.
He is survived by his wife, Ava Thomas; children, Michael Boyd Thomas, Mark Thomas, Tracy Falls, Susan Lion, Lisa Whitfield, Tammie Reasonover and Johnny Reasonover; sisters, Mildred Church and Faye Yates; 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Monday in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Summerfield Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday 5-9 P.M. and Sunday 8:00 A.M. - 9:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Friends and family may share memories and condolences at www.cumberlandfuneralhome.net.
