Emma Jeanette Hamilton, age 88, of Woodbury, TN., passed away Wednesday, July 29, 2015, at Stones River Hospital in Woodbury, TN. Mrs. Hamilton was born in Simpson County, KY., and was the daughter of the late Luther Webster Harrell and Zula Perry Harrell. She worked for many years as a Lab Technician at Emerald Hodgson Hospital and was a member of Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Sewanee, TN. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband William John Hamilton. She is survived by her son Webster Hamilton and his wife Jackie, of Woodbury, TN., and two sisters Patsy Absher of Bowling Green, KY., and Laurette Brackin of Hopover, KY. Visitation will begin at 12PM, Saturday, August 1, 2015, at Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Sewanee, TN., with a Memorial Service to begin at 2PM. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, please make donations to Sewanee Senior Citizens Center. Online condolences may be made at: www.cumberlandfuneralhome.net. Arrangements are by Cumberland Funeral Home, 207 Mabee Avenue, Monteagle, Tennessee.
