Mrs. Ruth M. Dodd, age 75, passed away Saturday, April 25, 2015 at River Park Hospital, in McMinnville, Tennessee. She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Allie Meeks; brothers, John K. Meeks, Jr., Dick Meeks; sisters, Elsie Mae Mashburn. Survivors include her husband, Harvey Dodd, McMinnville, TN; sons, Charles (Judy) Snider, Monteagle, TN; Pernell (Tina) Snider, McMinnville,TN; Teddy Dodd, McMinnville, TN; daughters, Charlotte (Sissy) Dodd and Karen Dodd; a special niece Sheila Nunley; 12 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Thursday, April 30, 2015 in Foster & Lay Chapel with Jamie English officiating, burial will follow in the Clouse Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5-9 P.M. Funeral arrangements are made by Foster & Lay Funeral Home, Tracy City, Tennessee (931)592-3691.
