Mrs. Shirley Sanders Meeks age 78 of Tracy City, Tennessee passed away Sunday morning, April 19, 2015, at her home. She was a daughter of the late Wallace and Hester Gibbs Sanders and was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred D. Meeks; brothers, Marvin, Melvin Sanders And Wallace Sanders, Jr. Shirley was a well known furniture upholster and had many customers and friends over the years. She is survived by her sisters, Ruth Stiefel and Nadine Reid Grubbs and a brother, Buford Sanders all of Tracy City; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Jeff Walper officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday 3-9 P.M. at the funeral home. Arrangements are by Foster & Lay Funeral Home of Tracy City, Tennessee.
