Obituary of Wayne Clay

Mr. Wayne Clay age 72 of Bells Cove near Pelham, TN passed from this life Monday evening in Erlanger Medical Center. Wayne was a son of the late Elston and Selby Henley Clay and was preceded in death by his siblings, Kerry, Wendell, an infant brother and sister. He was a well known master custom knife maker, he had sold his knives to customers in all fifty states and several foreign countries.
Survivors include his wife, Lotty Clay; sons, Lee Wayne and Kenneth Ray; sister, Connie (Elmer) Morris, Manchester; special friend, Larry Goodman; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Friday in the funeral home chapel with Minister Charles Williams officiating Burial will be in Warren Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 5-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
