Obituary of Clarence Harrison

Mr. Clarence E. Harrison age 81 of Sewanee passed away Saturday morning, March 14, 2015, in Golden Living Care Center in Winchester. He was a son of the late, Hayes Harrison and Eleanor Garner Harrison and was preceded in death by brothers, Tom, Bill and Francis Harrison.
Mr. Harrison was retired from The University of the South and was a U.S. Army veteran. He was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley A. Harrison; sons, Joey (Mamie) Harrison, Sewanee, Bobby Harrison, Winchester; grandchildren, Tyler Harrison, Todd Yates, Ben Slatton and Mary McBee; brother, Ben Harrison; sister, Ruby Harrison.
Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with Brother Mickey Henley officiating. Burial will be in Eastern Star Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday 6-9 P.M. at the funeral home. On line condolences may be made at: www.cumberlandfuneralhome.net. Military honors will be provided by Sequatchie Valley Honor Guard.
