Obituary of Martha Brown

Martha Elizabeth (Church) Brown, age 76 of Tracy City, Tennessee passed away on Christmas Day in Parkridge Medical Center in Chattanooga. She was born on Februaryu 10, 1938, a daughter of the late Martin Church and Tennie Anderson Church and was preceded in death by her sister, Alice Lockhart; brother, Clarence Church; grandchildren, Joshua Darrell Brown and Beth Ann Brown. Mrs. Brown and her husband, Hembree Brown, Jr. celebrated their 60th anniversary on Christmas Day. She was a lifelong member of Gum Springs Methodist Church. Survivors include hr husband, Hembree Brown, Jr.; children, Darrell (Sarah) Brown, Pam Turner, Russell (Tammy) Brown all of Tracy City, Marty (Melissa) Brown, Whitwell; sister, Jean Layne, Tracy City; brother, Martin Church, Jr., Kimball, TN.; seven grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday in the funeral home chapel. Ministers Ernest Lockhart and John Potts will officiate. Burial will be in Pryor Ridge Cemetery.
