Obituary of Elizabeth Cantrell-Daly

Elizabeth Lucille Cantrell-Daly, of Sewanee, Tennessee, went to be with the Lord on Friday, December 5, 2014. She was born on April 7, 1942 to Arlie and Walter Parker Cantrell of Sewanee, Tennessee. She is preceded in death by her husband Lavern E. Daly, her mother and father, brothers, William Cantrell, Walter Cantrell, James Cantrell, sister "Sue" Darrell Lorene Cantrell-Thompson. She is survived by her children, Susan (Dan) Gilliam, Troy (Dorothy) Finchum, Craig (Tonya) Finchum, and Ed Daly. Several grandchildren and great grandchildren, step-children, Lloyd (Betty) Finchum, Johnny (Sheila) Finchum, Edith (Troy) Hastin. She was employed by the Oak Terrace Restaurant, Pop's Happyland Restaurant, Truck stop and the Dining Services at the University of the South. She cooked for many people around this area and around the world. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Multi-County Cancer Support Network at P.O. Box 1355, Tullahoma, TN 37388. There will be no funeral service as she requested. Private burial will be in the Eastern Star Cemetery in Sewanee, Tennessee.
