Obituary of Carrie Lawson

Mrs. Carrie Frances Lawson of Tracy City, Tennessee passed away Tuesday evening at her daughter's home in Sequatchie. She was a daughter of the late Roy Layne and Alice Russell Layne and was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Jackson Lawson; brothers, Ford Layne and Isaac Layne; granddaughter, Shannon Leeann Womac; grandson, Michael Allen Ross.
She is survived by her daughters, Linda Sue Hobbs and Rita Kay Sweeton; sisters, Polly Stockwell Conry and Kathleen Meeks; 5 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday in the funeral home chapel with Reverend Ben Curtis officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday 5-9 P.M. at the funeral home. On line condolences may be made at: www.fosterlayfuneralhome.net.
