Kenneth Wilson "D Boone" Bennett died Saturday, April 2, 2011 in a Winchester, Tennessee nursing home.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran serving in the Korean War.
He was a son of the late Ford Bennett and Sarah Sartain Bennett and was preceded in death by brothers, Crawford "Pat" Bennett and Rollie Bennett.
A graveside funeral service was held on Sunday, April 3, 2011, in Monteagle Cemetery.
Kenneth's request was to tell everyone to "Kiss My Hillbilly ***."
A Memorial Tree was planted for Kenneth
