Obituary of Mary Smith

Mrs. Helena Henley Smith age 87 of Pelham, Tennessee passed away Monday morning. She is a long time resident of Pelham and attended the Valley Home Methodist Church of which her grandson Troy is the pastor. She was a daughter of the late Horace Aubrey Henley and Alma Catherine Brashear Henley and was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Smith; sons, Steve Smith and Roger Smith; grandson, Russell Smith, brothers; Horace and Donnie Henley; sister, Anna White Roper. Survivors include her 5 children, Kathy Smith, Lawrence Smith, Billy Smith, and June Meeks all of Pelham and Raylene Frassrand of Daytona Beach Florida; brothers, Bill Henley and Burwell Henley; sisters, Vivian Middleton, Elouise Goodman; 11 grandchildren, Troy, Ricky, Karrie, Wendy, George, Vicky, Missy, Shannon, Deleigh and Michael; 22 great grandchildren. Her funeral will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday in the Cumberland Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Randall Goodman officiating, burial will be in Warren Cemetery.
