James Eric Childers age 42 of the Flat Branch community near Tracy City passed away Sunday, August 3, 2014. He was veteran of the U.S. Army and was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, James and Thelma Sitz; paternal grandparents, Louie and Susie Childers.
He is survived by his parents, Bill and Glenda Childers, Tracy City; sister, Cheryl (Michael) Grimes, Altamont; nieces and nephews,, Madelyn Grace, Amelia Hope, Justin and Sydney; several aunts and uncles.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with Howard Fults, Leslie Sanders and Elmer Green conducting services. Burial will be in Gregg Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday 5-9 P.M. at the funeral home. On line condolences may be made at: www.fosterlayfuneralhome.net.
