Mrs. Earldene Metcalfe French, age 74, of South Pittsburg, Tennessee went to be with the Lord Friday, May 16, 2014 at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her husband Mr. Joseph Maurice Metcalfe; son, Timothy Lee Metcalfe and her parents Jim Earl and Clara Irene Layne Thomas; sisters, Thelma Cox, Leila Mae Purdy, Robena MaGourik and Jean Ann Raucakus; brothers James R. Thomas and Billy Thomas. Survivors include her Husband Bobby French her daughter Myra (Mike) Reilly; sons Joseph Metcalfe and Brian Metcalfe; sister Mary Johnson; brother Frank Lee (Carolyn) Thomas. Memorial Services will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 21, 2014 in the chapel of Cumberland Funeral Home. Reverend Boyd Thomas will officiate. Burial will follow in Summerfield Cemetery in Monteagle, Tennessee. The family will receive friends 12:00 - 2:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.
