Stanley "Ransie" Whitman, age 41, of Tracy City, Tennessee, passed away Friday, April 4, 2014 in ErlangerHospital. He is preceded in death by his father, Stanley Whitman; grandparents, Celo and Pearl Campbell, grandfather, Elmo Whitman.
Survivors include his wife, Holly L. Whitman, Tracy City, Tennessee; sons, Jonathan L. Whitman, Coalmont, Tennessee; James Garrett Whitman, Tracy City, Tennessee; daughters, Ciara Nicole Whitman, Tracy City, Tennessee; Braxton Loransie Whitman, Tracy City, Tennessee; parents, William and Jonah Sanders, Coalmont, Tennessee; brother, Jonatha Renzo Whitman, Tullahoma, Tennessee; niece, Olivia Kilgore, Tracy City, Tennessee; several Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 P.M. Sunday, April 6, 2014 in the Gum Springs Methodist Church with Reverend Ernest Lockhart and Reverend John Potts officiating, burial will follow in the Gregg Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 5-9 P.M. at the funeral home.
