Obituary of Minnie Lockhart

Mrs. Minnie Lee Lockhart age 99 of Monteagle passed away Wednesday with her family by her side. She was born in Coalmont a daughter of the late Joe Nunley and Lydia Woodlee Nunley and was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Lockhart; brother, Elihu Nunley; sister, Josephine Jones; sons, Roy Kenneth and Billy Joe Lockhart; daughter-in-law, Virginia Lockhart.
Survivors include her children, Dorothy (James W.) MaGouirk, Edwene Lockhart, Juanita (Jim) Haynes, Ruby (Ernie) Walker, Wanda (Terry) Turner and Marie (Jimmy) Hinson; 16 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, 32 great-great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-great-grandchild. Special acknowledgment to Webster Nunley, a lifelong and cherished friend.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.m. Saturday in the funeral home chapel with Reverend Mike Rigsby and Claude Hoback officiating. Burial will be in Bonny Oak Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday 5-9 P.M. and Friday 9:00 A.M. - 9:00 P.M. at the funeral home. On line condolences may be made at www.cumberlandfuneralhome.net.
