Obituary of Sr. Nunley

Mr. Lloyd Allen Nunley, Sr. age 66 of the Flat Branch community near Tracy City passed away Friday evening in Emerald-Hodgson Hospital in Sewanee. Lloyd was a son of the late Harvey Nunley and Edna Morgan Nunley and was preceded in death by brothers, Stanley and Franklin D. Nunley; sister, Nellie Hill. He had worked at the I-24 Rest Area in Monteagle for several years before retiring. Survivors include his wife, Willie Mae Nunley; son, Lloyd Allen Nunley, Jr., Tracy City; daughter, Stephanie Hall, Tracy City; brothers, Albert "Pap" Nunley, Tracy City; Robert Nunley, Craigsville, IN and Don Nunley of Lebanon, TN; sister, Mary Frederick, Tracy City; 12 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with Minister Mack Hampton officiating. Burial will be in Clouse Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends 5-9 P.M.
