Mrs. Inez Harris age 79 of Winchester, Tennessee passed away Sunday, February 9, 2014, at her home. She was a native of Palmer, a daughter of the late Preston Lee Tate and Mattie Cleo Meeks Tate and was preceded in death by a son, Dannie Harris of Decherd; infant brother, Leon Tate; half brothers, Jack, Steve and Lewis Turner; step-father, Ed Turner; son-in-law, Ruble Price.
Survivors include her husband, James W. Harris, Winchester; daughter, Diane Price, Winchester; sister, Margaret Gipson, White House, TN; half-brother, Joe Turner, Palmer; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with Minister Chris Haynes officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Garner Cemetery in Decherd, TN. The family will receive friends Tuesday after 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home. On line condolences may be made at www.cumberlandfuneralhome.net.
