Obituary of Gary Sitz

Mr. Gary Lee Sitz age 58 of Tracy City, Tennessee passed away Friday, February 7, 2014, at his daughter's home in Dalton, GA where he had recently moved. He was born in Grundy County, a son of the late Charles Sitz and Flora Roberts Sitz and was preceded in death by his wife, Janet Johnson Sitz; brothers, Larry, Norman and Randy Sitz. Gary was a U.S. Navy veteran and was a diesel mechanic.
Survivors include his children, Chevy Sitz, Dalton, GA, Leahia Sitz (Marcus Gaddy), Dalton, GA and Heather Sitz of Tracy City, Angel Nash, Monteagle; grandchildren, K.C. and Logan Nunley; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in O'Dear Cemetery in Sewanee with full military honors provided by Sequatchie Valley Veterans Honor Guard. The family will receive friends Monday 5-9 P.M. at the funeral home. On line condolences may be made at www.fosterlay funralhome.net.
