Joyce Charlene Meeks of Tracy City, Tennessee passed away Monday, January 06, 2014 at Grandview Medical Center in Jasper, Tennessee. Charlene was born November 8, 1956 in Coalmont, Tennessee to the Late Frank Ray Meeks and Hassie Smartt Meeks. She is in no more pain and we will all get to see her again one day. She will be missed. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her best friend Barbara Meeks. Survivors include her loving husband Danny Ray Meeks; daughter and son-in-law Cristie and Jacky Fults of Gruetli Laager; son Danny Mark Meeks of South Pittsburg; four grandchildren Tyler Meeks, Alexis Meeks, Christian Gallagher and Destinee Gallagher; 1 brother and 3 sisters.
Services will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday, January 9, 2014 in the chapel of Foster & Lay Funeral Home. Reverend Andy Lockhart will officiate. Burial will be in Plainview Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 4:30-8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
