Mr. John Wayne Dishroon age 64 of Pelham, Tennessee passed away December 21, 2013 at his home surrounded by his family. Mr. Dishroon was a avid outdoors enthusiast. He loved hunting and fishing. He was of the Baptist faith and worked many years in Winchester at Zanini Plastics. He proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1969 - 1975 during the Vietnam era. Most of all he loved his family. He was an amazing husband, father, and poppy. He was preceded in death by his parents Fred and Letha Dishroon; one brother James Dishroon; one nephew Charles; one niece Jackie and his brother-in-law Norman. Survivors include his loving wife of 46 years Pat Sheeks Dishroon; children David Dishroon of Winchester, TN; Amy (Don) Morris of Pelham, TN; Melissa (Travis) Hill of Hillsboro, TN; Sarah Dishroon (Charles Bauman) of Decherd, TN; John (Dawn) Dishroon of Hillsboro, TN; Lisa Dishroon of Pelham, TN; 13 grandchildren; 1 great-grandson and another on the way; sisters Dola Seagroves, Edna Gilliam, Betty Morrison, Debbie Brimhall and Gail Dickerson; brothers Charles Dishroon and Ricky Dishroon. Services will be 1:00 P.M. Monday, December 23, 2013 in the Chapel of Cumberland Funeral Home. Brother James Smith will officiate. Burial will be in Rutledge Hill Cemetery in Hillsboro, Tennessee with full military honors provided by Sequatchie Valley Veterans Honor Guard. The family will receive friends 4:00 - 9:00 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home.
