Obituary of Chester Meeks

Chester "Bug" Meeks, Jr. age 59 of Tracy City, Tennessee passed away Tuesday, December 17, 2013, in Emerald-Hodgson Hospital in Sewanee. He worked in construction and had been a coalminer for many years. He was preceded in death by his father, Chester Meeks; brother, Robbie Meeks.
Survivors include his children, Candy (Raymond) Nunley of Chattanooga; Trey Meeks, Tracy City; mother, Jo Ann Meeks of Tracy City; former wife and best friend, Teresa Meeks; brother, Ronnie "Oink" Meeks, Tracy City; 2 grandchildren, Jenna Rae and Bella Hope Nunley; several cousins, aunts, uncles, nices and nephews.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday in the funeral home chapel with Reverend Barry Nolan officiating. The family will receive friends Friday 5-9 P.M. at the funeral home. On line condolences may be made at www.fosterlayfuneralhome.net.
Arrangements are by Foster & Lay Funeral Home of Tracy City, Tennessee.
