Obituary of Raymond Schoenmann

Mr. Raymond Jackson Schoenmann age 81 of Tracy City, Tennessee passed away Sunday, December 14, 2013, in Life Care of Sparta. He was retired from Tyson Foods and was a U.S. Navy veteran serving during the Korean War, was a member of American Legion Post 0074 in Tracy City and a member of The Church of God of Prophecy in Tracy City. A son of the late William Elbert Schoenmann and Minnie Agnes Tate Schoenmann, he was born in Palmer, also preceding him in death was his wife, Mary Jo Schoenmann; brothers, Charles W. and Glenn S. Schoenmann; sister, Alvenia Luttrell. Survivors include his sons, Steve and Joey Schoenmann both of Cookeville; brothers, Ernest Schoenmann of Peoria, IL and Carl Schoenmann of Winchester; sister, Edna Kilgore of Monteagle; grandchildren, Stephanie and Brian; great-grandchildren, Damion, Dominick, Lillian and Asslyn; several nieces, nephews great nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with Reverend Izen "Red" Craven officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Cemetery with full military honors provided by the Sequatchie Valley Veteran Honor Guard. The family will receive friends Tuesday 5-9 P.M. at the funeral home.
