Rocky Lamer Scott, age 53 of East Ridge, TN, passed away Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga, Tennessee. He is preceded in death by his father, Dexter Scott. He is survived by his wife, Vickie Butler Scott, East Ridge, TN; daughter, Brandi Lynn Scott, East Ridge, TN; mother, Marie Spearman, Rossville, GA; sisters, Belinda Barantine, Sand Mountain, AL; Carolyn Wells, East Ridge, TN; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM (Central) Friday, November 8, 2013 in the Cumberland Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Clayton Jones officiating. The family will receive friends Friday from 12 noon to 1:00 PM. Arrangements are made by Cumberland Funeral Home, 207 Mabee Ave., Monteagle, TN 37356, (931)924-2381.
