Fr. Ronald A. Guy age 63 of Monteagle, Tennessee passed away Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at Southern Tennessee Medical Center in Winchester. After 26 years as a Dallas police officer, Ron attended seminary at the School of Theology, University of the South, in Sewanee, TN and was ordained priest in 2002. He served as a parish priest in Texas, Pennsylvania and New York state before returning to the mountain due to illness. He is survived by his wife Marisa of 32 years, his children Jason and Kelly, 3 grandchildren, his brother Robert and sister Cheryl. He was an Inspiration and Friend to many lives and will be forever missed. A memorial service will be 10:30 A.M. Monday, October 28, 2013 at St. James Episcopal Church, 898 Midway Road Sewanee, Tennessee. The Reverend Dr. Linda A. Hutton will officiate.
