Lawrence David Kopek age 54 of Monteagle, Tennessee passed away at his home October 2, 2013. David was born in Hamtramck, Michigan in 1959 to Larry and Arlene Kopek. He was a graduate of Catholic Control High School in Monroe, Michigan. David was preceded in death by his companion Gwendolyn Ladd for whom he had deep, deep, affection. Survivors include his children Stephanie Michelle Kopek and Christopher David Kopek both of Monteagle; parents Larry and Arlene Kopek of Yorktown, VA; sister and brother-in-law Michelle (John) Davidson of Yorktown, VA; brother and sister-in-law Brian (Hollie) Kopek of Baxter, MN; nieces and nephew Jenna, Madelyn, Nikolas, and Lily. Services will be 4:00 P.M. Sunday, October 6, 2013 in the chapel of Cumberland Funeral Home. The Reverend Bill Barton will officiate. The family will receive friends 2:00 - 4:00 P.M. Sunday.
