Obituary of Sandra Bess

Sandra Jean Nunley Bess "Sandy" age 63 of Altamont, Tennessee passed away at her home on Tuesday, October 2, 2013. She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul Louis Nunley and Edna Josephine Meeks Nunley; sister, Oma Lee Myers; nephew, Jimmy Myers. Sandy was a retired bus drive for the Grundy County Department of Education. Survivors include her husband, Dale Bess; children, John Alan Chapman, Andrea Jean (Aaron) Smartt, Ronald Dale (Pam) Bess; brother, Louis Alton "Dalchie" and wife, Christine Nunley; sisters, Audrey Gail (Harold) Clark, Sylvia Ann Meeks, Shirley Jo "Sherrie"Campbell, Charlene (Troy) Tate; grandchildren, Jonathan, Jacob, Angel, Bridgett, Miranda, Tavon, Devin, Matt, Javon, 2 great-grandchildren, Bristal and Jett; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Friday in the funeral home chapel with Ministers Ralph Shrum, Clint Shrum and Claude Hoback officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Cemetery.
