Donna Jo Byers, age 58, Tracy City, Tennessee, passed away, Thursday, September 26, 2013 at her residence. She ispreceded in death by her parents Donald Wayne and Willie Mae Byers and a brother Danny Wayne Byers. Survivors include her companion, Michael Smartt, Tracy City; sons, David Wayne "Tiger" Meeks, Steven Dale Meeks, Derrick Smartt all of Tracy City; daughter, Natalie Rochelle Shrum, and Brittany Smartt both of Tracy City; brothers, Jeremy Gibbs and John Payne of Tracy City; sisters, Teresa Byers Campbell, Kathy Byers Layne, of Tracy City; four grandchildren, Kendra Daniele Meeks, Steven Dewayne Meeks, Paige Smartt and Tyler Smartt; several nieces, nephews and aunts, uncles. Graveside service 3:00 PM Sunday, September 29, 2013 in the Gregg Cemetery in Tracy City, with Minister Clayton Jones officiating. Funeral arrangements are made by Foster & Lay Funeral Home, Tracy City, Tennessee, (931)592-3691.
