Mr. Raymond Gene "Skip" Desmarais age 68 of Tracy City passed away Saturday, August 31, 2013, in Emerald-Hodgson Skilled Care in Sewanee. He was born in Worchester, MA. and was a retired carpenter and mechanic.
Survivors include his wife, Wanda Burrows Desmarais; children, Gene (LeAnn) Desmarais, Shawn Desmarais, Kelly (Veronica) Desmarais, Devin Desmarais, Tammy Nunley (Chad Henry), Amanda Desmarais; brother, Richard Desmarais; sister, Sandy Sharpe, St. Petersburg, FL; 12 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with Claude Hoback and Ministers Ray Winton and Barry Nolan officiating. Burial will be in Coalmont Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday 3-9 P.M. and Tuesday 9 A.M. - 9 P.M. at the funeral home. On line condolences may be made at www.fosterlayfuneralhome.net.
