Sam Melvin Brawley, Jr. 47, of Tracy City, TN, passed away Thursday, March 17, 2011. Mr. Brawley was a graduate of Grundy Co. High School. Mr. Brawley was preceded in death by his parents, Sam Melvin and Mary Louise Adams Brawley. Survivors include his brother, David (Karen) Brawley, Tracy City, TN, sister, Patricia Ann Tate, Chattanooga, TN, fiancé, Stephanie Hall, Tracy City, TN sons; Trey VanHooser, Jeremiah Brawley and Ethan Brawley all of Tracy City, TN, and nephew, Nick Kirk, Tracy City, TN The family will receive friends from 5-9 PM Saturday at Foster & Lay Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home chapel Sunday at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Clayton Jones officiating. Burial will be in the Plainview Cemetery.
