Obituary of Kenneth Nunley

Mr. Kenneth Douglas Nunley age 69 of Tracy City, Tennessee passed on from this life Wednesday, August 14, 2013, at Emerald-Hodgson Hospital in Sewanee. He was born in Palmer, Tennessee, a son of the late James Douglas Nunley and Otsie Naomi Tigue Nunley and was preceded in death by a sister, Peggy Manley; brother, Billy Joe Nunley. He was a retired construction worker and had driven a log truck during his working life, his favorite past time was fishing or going to the horse & dog tracks. Survivors include his children, Kenneth Douglas Nunley, Jr. (Amanda), Tracy City, Kimberly Savoy, Ft. Lee, N.J., Sandra Hombaker (Richard), Tracy City and Susan (Houston) Sitz, Tracy City; sister, Angie; 18 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 3:00 P.M. Friday in the funeral home chapel with Elder Franklin Hill officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
