Gwendolyn Kay Ladd age 56 of Monteagle, Tennessee passed away July 6, 2013 at her home, following an extended illness, surrounded by family. Gwendolyn was born January 31, 1957 to Lawrence and Joyce Kunz Ladd. Gwendolyn was preceded in death by her father Lawrence "Pookie" Ladd, and great-niece Taylor Nicole Wockasen. Survivors include her mother Joyce Kunz Ladd, sister Stephanie (Ricky) Layne, brothers Russell (Linna) Ladd, Marlin (Nancy) Ladd, niece Tonya (Tony) Wockasen, nephew Cody Layne, great-nieces Kendall and Caillin Ladd, Lauren and Emma Wockasen, and companion David Kopek and his children Stephanie and Christopher Kopek. Services will be 2:00 P.M. Monday July 8, 2013 in the chapel of Cumberland Funeral Home. The Reverend Bill Barton will officiate. Burial will be in Monteagle Cemetery. The family will receive friends 5:00 - 9:00 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers please make memorial gifts to St. Andrews Sewanee School 290 Quintard Rd.
