Obituary of Johnsie Brannan

Mrs. Johnsie Katherine Brannan age 80 of Monteagle Tennessee went to be with the Lord on June 18, 2013 at her home surrounded by her family. Mrs. Brannon was a long time member of First Baptist Church in Monteagle. She loved the Lord, her family, and gardening. She also enjoyed attending the morning prayer group at First Baptist Church of Monteagle. Mrs. Brannan was preceded in death by her husband Mr. Johnny C. Brannan, her parents Charles Bell Myers, and Mary Elizabeth Myers, and a brother Charles Edward Myers. Survivors left to cherish her memory include her children Joy Hawkins of Cleveland, TN, Mike (Cindy) Brannan of Monteagle, TN, and Robbie (Lisa) Brannan of Estil Springs, TN; brother Billy Wayne (Shelia) Myers; sister-in-law Mae Wanda Myers; grandchildren Shane and Brad Cannon, Christy Bussard, David, Charlie, Mitchell, and Amber Jane Brannan. Services will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, June 20, 2013 in the funeral home chapel. Reverend Dr. Daryll Smiley will officiate. Burial will be in Monteagle Cemetery. The family will receive friends 4:00 - 9:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.
