Lois Elizabeth Meeks, age 60, of Monteagle, Tennessee, passed away Thursday, June 13, 2013 at Emerald Hodgson Hospital in Sewanee, Tennessee. She is preceded in death by her husband, James "Danny" Meeks; sister, Helen Smith and brother, Charles Melton. Survivors include her son Aaron (Jill) Meeks, Monteagle, Tennessee; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside service will be Monday, June 17, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. in the Monteagle Cemetery with Brother Tyler McCullough officiating. Funeral arrangements are made by Cumberland Funeral Home, 207 Mabee Ave., Monteagle, Tennessee (931)924-2381.
