Obituary of Judy Turner

Mrs. Judy K. Turner age 73 of the Sweeton Hill community near Tracy City passed away Sunday, June 2, 2013, in Emerald-Hodgson Hospital in Sewanee. She was retired from the Grundy County Board of Education and was a life long member of Sweeton Hill Congregational Methodist Church. She was born in Coalmont, a daughter of the late Willie Carl Fults and Beatrice Nunley Fults and was preceded in death by a daughter, Tresa Turner. Survived by a kind and loving husband, Bobby Gene Turner;son, Bobby Darrell (Pam) Turner; daughter, Beverly (Dwayne) Gipson all of Tracy City; brothers, Thomas Fults, Madison, TN, Pete (Laverne) Fults, Manchester, Kenneth (Carolyn) Fults, Palmer, TN, Jerry (Janice) Fults, Lebanon, TN; 4 grandchildren, Jennifer (Kris) Braden, Allen Gipson, Kristi Turner, Brian Turner; 2 great-grandchildren, Jadon Hall and Xander Braden; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel. Ministers Gene Richard and John Potts will officiate. Burial will be in Coalmont Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday 3-9 P.M. at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Jerry Fults, Pete Fults, Allen Gipson, Brian Turner, Dewayne Gipson and Jeff Hiett.
