Mrs. Edith Smith Scott age 78, of Bluffton, IN and a former resident of Tracy City passed away Wednesday, March 2, 2011 in Heritage Pointe Nursing Home in Warren, IN. She was a daughter of the late Riley Smith and Lillian M. Sanders Smith and was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Scott; sons, Larry and Wayne Scott; daughter, Ellen Coker.
Survivors include her children, Jerry Scott, Shipshewana, IN, Terry Scott, Keystone,IN, Clara Cook, Mesa,AZ, Ann Scott, Bluffton, IN; 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday in the Foster & Lay Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Ben Curtis officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday 5-9 P.M. at the funeral home. Arrangements are by Foster & Lay Funeral Home, Tracy City, Tennessee, 931-592-3691.
