Obituary of Carl Sitz

Mr. Carl Houston Sitz age 69 of Tracy City, Tennessee passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2013, in Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville. He was a retired logger and a member of Mt. Calvary Apostolic Church. Born October 6, 1943, he was a son of the late James Sitz and Thelma Coppinger Sitz and was preceded in death by a brother, Ralph Sitz; step-son, Jim Manley. Survivors include his wife, Geneva Fredrick Sitz; children, Houston (Susan) Sitz, Jeremy Sitz, Valerie (Keith) Smith, Wanda (Wayne) Anderson, Joanna Sitz; step-son, Randy Cox; brother, Gerald Sitz; sisters, Marie Merrell, Glenda Childers, Phyllis Carrick; grandchildren, Cody, Daimeon, Morgan, Kaeden, Isabella, Madison and Gracelyn; great-grandchild, Kimberly; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Friday in the funeral home chapel. Elder Franklin Hill and Reverend Mickey Hill will officiate. Burial will be in the Meeks Family Cemetery in Flat Branch.
